Mirzapur Conversion Case: Taking major action in the Mirzapur conversion case, the police has arrested the main accused and mastermind Imran Khan from Delhi Airport. It is being told that Imran was trying to escape to Dubai with his family. Then on January 23, Delhi Police caught him and handed him over to Mirzapur Police.

Total seven accused arrested so far

A total of seven accused have been arrested so far in this case. A reward of Rs 25,000 was announced on Imran and a Look Out Circular was issued against him. His information was circulated at all airports, ports and borders, so that he could not leave the country.

After being arrested from Delhi, Imran has been handed over to UP Police. Mirzapur Police team is bringing him to the district, where he will be interrogated. SSP Mirzapur Somen Burma has formed a special team for this case, which is investigating the entire network.

Allegation of conversion through gym

According to the police, Imran is the owner of gym chains running under the names ‘KGN’ and ‘Iron Fire’. It is alleged that through these gyms, girls and youth were being influenced and converted illegally. In this case, two cases have been registered in Kotwali Dehat and one accused has already been arrested in a police encounter.

Police have sealed an office of Imran in Mirzapur. Investigation has revealed that apart from Dubai, Imran has also traveled to many other countries. Many luxury cars have also been found from him, which he used to impress people. An office of Imran is also said to be registered in Kanpur.

Hindu girls from rich families were the target

According to the police, the accused used to target women from rich families. A member of the gang tried to trap the woman. If he was not successful then another member would step forward. The arrested accused include Mohammad Sheikh Ali, Faizal Khan, Zaheer and Shadab. Shadab was a constable in GRP, who was arrested after a police encounter.

Investigation continues, more revelations expected

Police say that after interrogating Imran, more names to this network may come to light. Considering the seriousness of the matter, the police is investigating from every aspect and big revelations are likely to be made soon.
