NEW DELHI: The World Legends Pro T20 League (WLPTL), in partnership with Goa Tourism, took its iconic trophy directly to the fans, giving cricket lovers across Goa a chance to see it up close.

The trophy tour allowed fans to click pictures, create memories, and soak in the excitement ahead of the tournament’s opening celebrations at the 1919 Sportz Stadium in Verna.

Anticipation is steadily rising for the league, which will begin with a grand opening concert by Sunidhi Chauhan on January 25, followed by the first match on January 26. The final is scheduled for February 4.

On Day 1 of the tour, the trophy made stops at Chapora Fort and Baga Beach. Fans gathered along the scenic coastline to catch their first glimpse of the silverware, posing for photographs against the stunning backdrop of the fort and the sea. The atmosphere was lively, with families, children, and cricket fans adding to the buzz.

Day 2 saw the trophy travel to Mangeshi Temple, Palolem Beach, and Mapusa Market. The tour continued to spread cricket fever across the state, blending Goa’s cultural, spiritual, and community landmarks into the celebration. Fans enthusiastically posed with the trophy, making the experience truly special.
