UP Warriorz Women vs Gujarat Giants Women: On the basis of the all-round performance of Sophie Devine, Gujarat Giants defeated UP Warriors by 45 runs in the WPL 2026 match played at the BCA Stadium in Vadodara on Thursday (January 22).
The UP team, which came to chase the target, got the first blow on the total score of 2 runs. There was a partnership of 37 runs for the second wicket, but after this wickets kept falling at short intervals and UP was all out for 108 runs in 17.3 overs. This is the second lowest score made by UP in the history of this tournament.

Rajeshwari Gaikwad took 3 wickets for Gujarat, for which she was adjudged player of the match. Apart from this, Sophie Divine and Renuka Singh Thakur took 2-2 wickets, Kesavi Gautam and captain Ashley Gardner took 1-1 wicket.
After being invited to bat first, Gujarat scored 153 runs at the loss of 8 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Devine scored unbeaten 50 runs in 42 balls and Beth Mooney scored 38 runs in 34 balls.
For UP, Kranti Gaur and Sophie Ecclestone took 2-2 wickets, Chloe Tryon and Deepti Sharma took 1-1 wicket.
