If he is being ignored again and again, then the best way for any player is to respond with his performance. This story is also very common in Indian cricket, where entering and maintaining a place in Team India is a big challenge. Hardly anyone knows this better than young Indian batsman Sarfaraz Khan and that is why he is proving himself with his performance. Sarfaraz Khan, who is out of Team India, continued his excellent form and once again scored a tremendous double century in Ranji Trophy.
Sarfaraz did this feat on the second day of the Elite Group D match between Mumbai and host Hyderabad at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad. Sarfaraz from Mumbai, who was batting first, had completed his century on the first day of the match and returned unbeaten after scoring 142 runs. During this, he along with team captain Siddhesh Lad had made an excellent partnership of 249 runs. Lad also scored a century and was out after scoring 104 runs.
However, Sarfaraz continued his attack on the second day as well and started batting aggressively as soon as he came. Without wasting any time, this right-handed batsman completed his double century in the first session of the second day of the match on Friday, January 23. This star batsman from Mumbai scored this double century in just 206 balls, which is the 5th double century of his first class career and this has come in only 61 matches. During this, Sarfaraz thrashed all the bowlers including Hyderabad captain and Team India's star fast bowler Mohammad Siraj.
Ultimately, Sarfaraz Khan's tremendous innings ended with an excellent score of 227 runs. He scored these runs in just 219 balls, which included 19 fours and 9 sixes. He was clean bowled by Rakshan and gave the sixth blow to Mumbai. However, even before getting out, Sarfaraz had taken the team to a big score of 488 runs.
