RCB-RR Deadline: The days of IPL are coming closer. The bugle of the new season will sound from 26th March. But, before that there is a question. Will the matches be held in Bengaluru and Jaipur? Regarding this, the Governing Council of IPL has sought answers from Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals. Both the franchises have been given time till January 27 to reply in this matter by the Governing Council. According to the report of Dainik Jagran, both the franchises will have to talk to the respective State Cricket Board and reach a conclusion by January 27.

When will the IPL schedule be announced?

IPL 2026 will be held from March 26 to May 31. However, the schedule of T20 league has not been announced yet. According to the report, the schedules of IPL matches will be announced after the election dates in Tamil Nadu, Assam and Bengal are revealed.

RCB scared of Karnataka government law

The report said that even if RCB tries to show that everything is fine and they want to hold the match at Chinnaswamy Stadium. But it is not so. Quoting BCCI sources, the report said that the Karnataka government has passed a law after the incident on Chinnaswamy, according to which, wherever a big match or event is held and any incident happens around it during that time, the organizer will be held responsible. It is being said that the owners of RCB are scared of this.

RCB will have to take NOC from MI in this matter

According to the report, RCB wants to hold its 5 matches at DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai. But, for that as per the rules he will have to take NOC from Mumbai Indians. If any franchise wants to hold its matches in the city of another franchise, then as per the rules of IPL, it has to take NOC. RCB also plans to hold 2 matches in Raipur.
