The 11th match of the Women’s Premier League 2026 was played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals on Saturday, January 17 at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. In this match, RCB captain Smriti Mandhana won the toss and decided to bowl first, which proved to be completely correct.
Delhi Capitals, who came to bat first, had a very bad start. In the very first over, Lauren Bell dismissed Liezel Lee (4), while Laura Wolvaardt returned to the pavilion without opening the account. In the next over, Sayali Satghare put Delhi in deep trouble by dismissing captain Jemimah Rodrigues (4) and Marizanne Cap (0).

Although Royal Challengers Bangalore started chasing the target with the wicket of Grace Harris (1), but after that captain Smriti Mandhana took complete control of the match. Mandhana made a century partnership of 142 runs in 92 balls for the second wicket with Georgia Wall.
Smriti Mandhana played a explosive inning of 96 runs in 61 balls, which included 13 fours and 3 sixes. She missed scoring her first century of the Women’s Premier League by just four runs. Georgia Wall scored unbeaten 54 runs in 42 balls and led the team to victory.
In bowling for Delhi Capitals, Marijane Kapp and Nandini Sharma got 1-1 wicket.
The overall result was that Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Delhi Capitals by 8 wickets and registered their fourth consecutive win in the tournament and continued their excellent form.
