Noida, . A young man living with his brother-in-law in Shramik Kunj, Sector 66 of Police Station Phase-3 area in Noida, committed suicide by hanging himself late on Friday night. Police reached the spot after receiving information about the incident and are investigating the matter. Apart from this, two girls living at different places consumed poisonous substance due to mental stress and have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.

Phase-3 police station in-charge Puneet Kumar said on Saturday that Tarvez (27) used to work in a factory along with his brother-in-law in Shramik Kunj, Sector 66. Late at night, he committed suicide by hanging himself from the fan hook of his flat. After getting information about the incident, the police reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem to find out the reasons for the suicide.

Sector 20 police station in-charge Arvind Kumar said that 14-year-old Anjali, living in Nithari village, consumed poisonous substance at her home on Friday night due to mental stress. In a very critical condition, he was admitted to the District Hospital of Noida, from where in view of his deteriorating condition, he was referred to Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi. Similarly, Mamta (22), resident of Police Station Sector-126, consumed poisonous substance at her home on Friday night due to unknown reason. In critical condition, he was admitted to Noida District Hospital for treatment. As the condition of the girl became critical, the doctors referred her to Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi for treatment.
