Indian cricket's star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is one of the best all-rounders in the world. But the surprising thing is that Jadeja has not scored a half-century in an ODI match on Indian soil for the last 13 years. This figure is quite surprising. His last home ODI half-century came against England on 15 January 2013 at the Nehru Stadium, Kochi. In that match, Jadeja, batting at number 6, scored unbeaten 61 runs in 37 balls. After this, he also took 2 wickets while bowling and Jadeja was chosen as the player of the match. But since then he has not been able to end this drought.

When Ravindra Jadeja scored his last half-century on Indian soil, the atmosphere was completely different from today. The then Prime Minister of India was Manmohan Singh. Sachin Tendulkar was also playing international cricket, which means he had not retired. Not only this, MS Dhoni was the captain of Team India in all three formats. Apart from this, Rohit Sharma had not even started the opening role in Team India till then. That means a lot has changed in these 13 years. But Ravindra Jadeja has not been able to end this wait.

Ravindra Jadeja has been playing ODI cricket for Team India since 2009. During this period, he has been a part of a total of 209 ODI matches. In these matches, Ravindra Jadeja has scored 2893 runs at an average of 32.50. Which also includes 13 half-centuries. But in India he has scored only 2 half-centuries. Jadeja has played a total of 86 matches in India and scored 1138 runs. His average in India is only 30.75, which is less than his career average. That means Jadeja has proved to be more successful in ODIs away from home than at home, which is quite surprising.
