WPL 2026 RCB Women vs GG Women: In the 9th match of the Women's Premier League (WPL) 2025-26, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Gujarat Giants (GG) faced each other at the Dr. DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. In this match, Gujarat Giants won the toss and chose to bowl first and pushed RCB on the backfoot in the powerplay itself. But after this, an amazing comeback was seen from Royal Challengers Bangalore and the team put a big score on the board, which surprised everyone.
RCB's batting faltered in the beginning of the match. The team scored 45 runs in the first 6 overs, but in return lost 4 big wickets. Grace Harris returned to the pavilion after scoring 17 runs, Dayalan Hemlatha 4 runs, captain Smriti Mandhana 5 runs and Gautami Naik returned to the pavilion after scoring 9 runs. But from here the comeback in RCB's innings started. Radha Yadav and Richa Ghosh made an important partnership for the fifth wicket and hit a line of fours and sixes.
Radha Yadav and Richa Ghosh added 105 runs in 66 balls for the fifth wicket. Due to which Royal Challengers Bangalore team managed to score 182 runs at the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. During this, Radha Yadav batted amazingly and scored 66 runs in 47 balls. This innings of Radha Yadav included 6 fours and 3 sixes. On the other hand, Richa Ghosh scored 44 runs in 28 balls in a stormy manner. Richa Ghosh batted at a strike rate of 157.14 and hit 4 fours and 2 sixes. Which took the team to a big score.
At the end of the innings, Nadine de Klerk also showed her explosive style, who is proving to be a big match winner for the team this season. Nadine de Klerk scored 26 runs in just 12 balls, which included 2 fours and 2 sixes. On the other hand, Sophie Devine took maximum 3 wickets for Gujarat Giants. Apart from him, Kashvi Gautam took 2 wickets. Renuka Singh and Georgia Wareham also managed to achieve 1-1 success.
