Indian Premier League’s (IPL) Gujarat Titans is set to commence the third edition of its ‘Junior Titans’ programme in Surendranagar on January 17 before travelling to four more locations across Gujarat.
The grassroots initiative – which began in 2024 – features a variety of different games and activities intended to encourage physical activity and sporting enthusiasm amongst children under the age of 14.
The previous two editions, conducted in 2024 and 2025, have seen the initiative visit a host of different venues in the state of Gujarat including Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Bhavnagar, and Surat, with over 10,000 children estimated to have taken part across both editions.
Speaking at a media interaction on Thursday, Gujarat Titans COO Colonel Arvinder Singh said, “Our main ambition for this programme is to motivate and show children the importance of playing and doing physical activity. Rather than only using gadgets, physical activity is incredibly important as well, whichever sport you like.”
Singh also said that the Titans’ IPL trophies would be taken for children to view as well.
The programme begins in Surendranagar on January 17, before moving to Morbi (January 24), Amreli (January 31), and Anand (February 7), before winding up in Ahmedabad (February 14).
