Chasing 194 runs at the DY Patil Stadium, Harmanpreet scored an unbeaten 71 runs off 43 balls, laced with 7 fours and 2 sixes. She also completed 1,000 runs in the WPL as MI won the match in the 20th over. She was helped by Nicola Carey, who amassed an unbeaten 38 runs off 23 deliveries, laced with 6 fours.

Earlier, Gujarat were in danger of getting restricted below the 150-mark, but Georgia Wareham and Bharti Fulmali took the total to 192/5 in 20 overs. Bharti was magnificent with the bat, accumulating 36 runs off 15 balls, packed with 3 fours and 3 sixes. Wareham remained unbeaten on 43 runs off 33 deliveries, with the help of 4 boundaries and 1 six.
