Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and renowned actor Amitabh Bachchan were seen enjoying a game of finger cricket, a video of which was posted by the senior celebrity himself. The two prominent personalities were snapped on the sidelines of the ongoing Indian Street Premier League.
The bonding between the two luminaries was hard to miss. Tendulkar and Bachchan treated the contest seriously and there were several moments of laughter between the two. Amitabh did not not let a single opportunity down to express his passion for the game.
For the unversed, Tendulkar is the core committee member of the ISPL.
On the other hand, Bachchan is the owner of Majhi Mumbai, which is one of the eight teams in the tournament. The third season of the ISPL has commenced from January 9 and will go on till February 6.
Netizens expressed their sentiments on social media. The ISPL was credited for bringing together two legends for a fun session. There were several other comments praising the legendary duo for their high-flying spirit during their game.
Bachchan has also been a cricket fan since his childhood. On many occasions, he has openly stated his support for the Indian cricket team. He has also visited the Wankhede Stadium on various occasions during the Men in Blue's matches as well as several IPL games.
As for Tendulkar, who retired in 2013, he has 34,357 runs in international cricket in a career that spanned 200 Tests, 463 ODIs and a sole T20I.
He leads the run-scoring charts in international cricket by a massive margin, with Kohli being a distant second. It is unlikely that any batter will go past Tendulkar's international run tally soon.
