The official kit sponsor of the Indian cricket team Adidas, recently released a new jersey which the Indian team will don at the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 in the USA and West Indies from next month.
There is a noticeable orange splash throughout the new Team India shirt that will be worn during the T20 World Cup. A month before the World Cup, Adidas launched the jersey in an intriguing way. The launch video features Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja, and Kuldeep Yadav. The new blue-orange Team India jersey is seen being carried by a helicopter in the video.
Since becoming the kit sponsors, Adidas have revealed the India jerseys in creative ways. Last year, the Wankhede Stadium saw the unveiling of India’s first set of Test, ODI, and T20I shirts.
The new shirt also sports the Adidas and BCCI logos along with tri-color strips. Adidas claims that the new jersey will be on sale in its retail locations starting tomorrow.
