NEW DELHI: Former Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan has shared a heartfelt Instagram post announcing his engagement, signaling a fresh chapter in his life.

Dhawan, who retired from all forms of cricket in August 2024, has now turned the page and stepped into a new phase away from the game that defined him for years.

The former India opener shared a warm message reflecting love, gratitude and togetherness as he made the special announcement on social media.

Dhawan was earlier married to Aesha Mukherjee. The couple tied the knot in 2012 and have a son together. After a long period of personal differences, the two parted ways and were officially divorced in October 2023. Since then, Dhawan has quietly rebuilt his personal life and now looks ready to move forward again.
