UP Draft Voter List: The first draft list after the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list in Uttar Pradesh was released on January 6. After the release of district wise figures, a large number of voter reductions have been revealed. Out of 9 assembly seats in the capital Lucknow, BJP MLAs have been elected on 7 seats and SP MLAs have been elected on 2 seats.

The details of 9 assembly seats of Lucknow are as follows:

• Malihabad (SC) – BJP: Jai Devi
• Bakshi Pond – BJP: Yogesh Shukla
• Sarojininagar – BJP: Rajeshwar Singh
• Lucknow West – SP: Armaan Khan
• Lucknow North – BJP: Dr. Neeraj Bora
• Lucknow East – BJP: O.P. Srivastava
• Lucknow Central – SP: Ravidas Mehrotra
• Lucknow Cantt – BJP: Brajesh Pathak
• Mohanlalganj (SC) – BJP: Amresh Kumar

After SIR Major changes in voter numbers Seen:

• Malihabad (SC) – Decrease from 3,68,641 to 3,04,471, i.e. 64,170 less
• Bakshi Pond – Decrease from 4,95,123 to 3,84,852, i.e. 1,10,271 less
• Sarojininagar – Decrease from 6,02,159 to 4,12,974, i.e. 1,89,185 less
• Lucknow West – Decrease from 4,70,362 to 3,28,073, i.e. 1,42,289 less
• Lucknow North – Decrease from 4,99,019 to 3,07,422, i.e. 1,91,597 less
• Lucknow East – Decrease from 4,62,625 to 2,92,530, i.e. 1,70,095 less
• Lucknow Central – Decrease from 3,72,000 to 2,43,246, i.e. 1,28,754 less
• Lucknow Cantt – Decrease from 3,65,590 to 2,22,598, i.e. 1,42,992 less
• Mohanlalganj (SC) – Decrease from 3,59,016 to 2,98,231, i.e. 60,785 less

Overall in these 9 assembly constituencies 39,94,535 voters before SIR were, which decreased after SIR 27,94,397 Remained. i.e Names of a total of 12,00,138 voters were removed from the list.,
