Delhi: Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s excellent form continues in the ongoing Under 19 ODI series against South Africa. In the third match played on Thursday, he scored another brilliant century. Starting the innings, Vaibhav Suryavanshi along with Aaron George made a big partnership of 227 runs.

Vaibhav scored 127 runs in just 74 balls. His innings included 9 fours and 10 sixes. He played aggressively from the beginning. 14 year old Vaibhav is captaining the Indian team in this entire series. In the absence of regular captain Ayush Mhatre, he has taken command of the team and has given a strong start to the team.
Vaibhav played a fast innings in the second ODI also. He had scored 68 runs in 24 balls and completed his half-century in just 19 balls. Due to rain in that match, Duckworth-Lewis rule was applied and India won the match.
In the third match, Vaibhav converted his good start into a century. This has further strengthened his growing identity at the Under 19 level. His batting has made him one of the most promising young batsmen in the world.
Last year, he also made the record of fastest century in Under 19 cricket. He scored a century against England in Wooster in just 52 balls.
India is currently leading 2–0 in the three-match Under 19 ODI series. This series is part of the preparation for the Under 19 World Cup. This tournament will start from January 15 in Zimbabwe and Namibia.
