Let us tell you that both these players used to play for Delhi at a time when the name of the franchise was Delhi Daredevils. At present, both of them play for different teams and are leading their teams. However, meanwhile, Pant remembered some of his best moments with Sanju and made a big revelation.

Pant has told that during the match played against Gujarat Lions in 2017, when Sanju came to ask him about the game plan, he advised him to hit. Let us tell you that this season Pant is the captain of DC and under his captaincy the team is struggling to make it to the playoffs. On the other hand, Samson-led Rajasthan is currently at second place in the points table and has almost qualified for the playoffs. In such a situation, Rishabh has given a big statement during the conversation on Jio Cinema.

He said, “There was very good chemistry between us and there was a very difficult run chase in the match against Gujarat. During this, Sanju asked me what would be the game plan? On this I said, hit me brother, both of us will hit.”

Let us tell you that this incident happened in the year 2017, when the teams of Gujarat and Delhi were face to face in the 42nd match of the tournament at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. In this match, Gujarat batted first and scored a huge score of 208 runs at the loss of 7 wickets. However, after this, Delhi had a bad start to chase the run and they lost their first wicket for 24 runs. After this, there was a partnership of 143 runs on 63 balls for the third wicket between Pant and Samson. Sanju had scored 61 runs in 31 balls with the help of 7 sixes, while Rishabh had scored 97 runs in 43 balls with the help of 6 fours and 9 sixes and Delhi won the match by 7 wickets.

If we talk about IPL 2024, Rajasthan is performing well under the captaincy of Samson, whereas DC's performance has been disappointing. However, the left-handed batsman has scored a lot of runs with his bat. Playing 11 matches, Delhi has won 5 and if they want to make their place in the playoffs, they will have to win the next three matches. DC will play its next match against RR on May 7 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
