Delhi: Kerala batsman Vishnu Vinod created history with his tremendous performance in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. He played a brilliant unbeaten innings against Puducherry in the match played at Narendra Modi Stadium A ground in Ahmedabad. Kerala easily achieved the target of 248 runs.

Vishnu Vinod scored unbeaten 162 runs in just 84 balls. His innings included 13 fours and 14 sixes. He completed his century in 63 balls and continued scoring runs at a fast pace. After this, he completed the next fifty in just 18 balls and touched the figure of 150 runs in 81 balls.

This inning became the third fastest 150-run inning in Indian List A cricket. Only Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Dinesh Karthik have done this feat faster than him. Puducherry bowlers looked completely helpless in front of Vinod’s batting.

In this match Vishnu Vinod made another big record in his name. He completed his 100 sixes in Vijay Hazare Trophy. He became the third Indian batsman to do so. In this list, Manish Pandey is at first place and Rituraj Gaikwad is at second place. Vinod has now reached second place in this list with 106 sixes.

Talking about the match, Kerala did not have a good start. Sanju Samson and captain Rohan Kunnummal were out early. After this Vishnu Vinod and Baba Aparajit took over the innings. Both of them made an unbeaten partnership of 222 runs for the third wicket and gave the team victory in 29 overs.
