Shubhman Gill He is going to lead the team in the ODI series against New Zealand starting from January 11 but before that his form is not looking good. The big thing with Gill is that he is performing poorly in both T20 and ODI formats. Gill has not scored a half-century in the ODI format since February 20, 2025. Drop from T20 World Cup

Shubman Gill is performing very poorly in T20 format also. In the last one year, he could not score a half-century in this format. Due to very poor form, he was dropped from the T20 team. He was even dropped from the T20 World Cup squad even though he was the vice-captain of the team. If Gill does not play big innings soon, his troubles will increase further.

On the other hand, Shreyas Iyer, who returned to the field after two months, scored 82 runs in 53 balls against Himachal. Similarly, Suryakumar Yadav is also in the same condition as Gill, who was out after scoring only 24 runs against Himachal.
