Lucknow: ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is to be hosted by Pakistan. Apart from this, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is making its full preparations and has also sent the draft of the tournament to ICC. However, the biggest question regarding this is whether the Indian team will go to the neighboring country to play in this tournament. The stand of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on this matter is clear that they will follow the guidelines of the Government of India and will do as the government says.

Now BCCI Vice President Rajiv Shukla has given a big statement on the issue of Champions Trophy and he has told whether Team India will go to Pakistan or not. Let us tell you that Men in Blue last toured Pakistan in the year 2008 and since then the team has not gone to play in the neighboring country. However, the Pakistan team toured India in the ICC World Cup 2023 and participated in the tournament. In such a situation, he hopes that the Indian team will participate in the tournament to be hosted by him. Now Shukla has given a big statement on this while talking to news agency ANI.

He said, in the matter of Champion Trophy, whatever the Government of India tells us, it will be done. We send our team only when the Government of India gives permission. In that matter we will go by the decision of the Government of India.”

Let us tell you that earlier news had come that Pakistan Cricket Board has prepared its draft for this tournament. They have handed it over to ICC and three venues have been selected for this, which include Lahore, Karachi and Rawalpindi. That means this entire tournament will be played on three grounds. So, it was also revealed in this report that keeping the security in mind, all the matches of India will be held at one venue, in which Lahore is at the forefront.

Even though Pakistan is preparing for this, there is little possibility that India will go there for this tournament. Even before this, Asia Cup 2023 was to be hosted by Pakistan but when Team India refused to go there, this tournament was played on hybrid model. Where India's matches were hosted by Sri Lanka.
