Vijay Hazare Trophy: Consider it the anger of that player or whatever, but this is a true matter. Since it was not sold in the IPL 2026 auction, getting that batsman out has become a puzzle for the bowlers. In whatever match he is playing, he is just scoring runs and not getting out. This is the same batsman whom Kavya Maran had released from her IPL team SRH. But now the style and mood in which he is playing, it seems as if he is trying to prove everyone wrong. We are talking about Abhinav Manohar, who plays from Karnataka in Vijay Hazare Trophy.
After not being sold in the IPL 2026 auction on 16 December, Abhinav Manohar played his first match in the Vijay Hazare Trophy on 24 December. Since then, he has played a total of 5 matches in this tournament. But in none of the cases has Manohar become the victim of the opposing bowler. He is remaining unbeaten in every match.
In the current season of Vijay Hazare Trophy, Abhinav Manohar played the first match for Karnataka against Jharkhand, in which he played an unbeaten inning of 56 runs. After that, he did not bat in the second match played against Kerala on 26 December. In the third match on 29 December, Abhinav Manohar came against Tamil Nadu and remained unbeaten after scoring 20 runs. On 31 December, he remained unbeaten after scoring 21 runs against Puducherry. On January 3, he played an unbeaten inning of 79 runs for his team Karnataka against Tripura.
That is, after not being sold in the IPL 2026 auction, Abhinav Manohar has so far scored 176 runs in 4 innings of 5 matches, facing 90 balls. During this period he has hit 9 sixes and 17 fours.
Right-handed aggressive middle order batsman and finisher Abhinav Manohar was bought by Kavya Maran for Rs 3 crore 20 lakh in the IPL 2025 auction and joined her team Sunrisers Hyderabad. But, before the IPL 2026 auction, Abhinav Manohar was released from SRH.
