Desk: Bangladesh cricket team will not come to India to participate in the ICC T-20 World Cup 2026. Bangladesh’s sports advisor Asif Nazrul has confirmed this through a social media post. Nazrul said that Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has taken this decision after the meeting.

Asif Nazrul wrote on Facebook, ‘Bangladesh will not go to India to play the World Cup. Bangladesh Cricket Board has taken this decision today (January 4). We welcome this decision, which has been taken in response to the aggressive communal policies of the Indian Cricket Board. This decision of BCB has been taken after the exclusion of Mustafizur Rahman from the Indian Premier League (IPL). The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had directed Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) to release Mustafizur Rahman from their team. KKR had released Mustafizur following the instructions of BCCI.
