IPL Broadcast in Bangladesh: There may be a ban on telecast of IPL matches in Bangladesh. It is reported that a special request has been made to the Information and Broadcasting Ministry of Bangladesh regarding this. This request has been made by the Sports Ministry, whose advisor Asif Nazrul says that he will not tolerate any kind of insult to Bangladesh Cricket or any of its players. Earlier, there is news of Sports Ministry giving instructions to Bangladesh Cricket Board to change the venue of T20 World Cup 2026 matches.

IPL matches will not be telecast in Bangladesh?

Dr. Asif Nazrul, advisor to the Sports Ministry of Bangladesh, has expressed his displeasure over Mustafizur's exclusion from the IPL. He posted on social media and said that he strongly condemns the decision of BCCI. He further wrote that he will request his Information and Broadcasting Minister not to allow the telecast of IPL matches in Bangladesh.
