Delhi: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Sunday announced that each member of Pakistan's T20 World Cup squad will get Rs 100,000 if their team wins the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 title to be held in the United States (USA) and West Indies in June. You will get American dollars. PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi made this announcement on Monday. He expressed hope that the team will win the title.
PCB shared on social media, “PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has announced a prize of $ 100,000 to each player for winning the T20 World Cup.”
He also told the players to 'don't care about anyone' but only play for Pakistan and demonstrate teamwork, and 'God willing', the team will win. Naqvi further said that all the players are united. He also expressed hope that fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi will perform brilliantly in the tournament. Mohsin told the players, “The country has a lot of expectations from you. You have to fulfill them.”
The PCB chief also gave special jerseys to the players. Meanwhile, star wicketkeeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan was awarded the jersey for completing 3000 T20 runs, while fast bowler Naseem Shah was also presented the shirt for taking 100 T20 wickets.
Pakistan threatened to attack terrorist
The ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 is under threat. This upcoming major ICC tournament will be hosted jointly by the United States of America (USA) and West Indies. It will start from June 2 as per Indian time. Earlier, West Indies had received a threat of terrorist attack from the northern part of Pakistan. Islamic State (IS) has reportedly threatened to attack many other sporting events including the T20 World Cup. Islamic State is known for spreading violence. He is calling all his supporters to join the war.

Meanwhile, the West Indies Cricket Board has reacted to this issue. It has assured that there will be no disruption in the World Cup matches in their country.
