Rajasthan Royals head into IPL 2026 with a bowling attack that offers multiple options for the high-pressure death overs. After reinforcing their squad at the Abu Dhabi mini-auction, RR now possess a blend of pace, experience and control to close out tight matches.
Jofra Archer remains Rajasthan Royals’ premier death-over bowler. The England fast bowler’s pace, bounce and ability to bowl pinpoint yorkers make him a major threat in overs 16 to 20. When fully fit, Archer’s presence alone puts batters under pressure, and he is expected to shoulder primary responsibility at the back end.
Sandeep Sharma continues to be one of RR’s most reliable operators in the final overs. Known for his accuracy and ability to execute wide yorkers and slower balls, Sandeep has repeatedly delivered under pressure in the IPL. His experience makes him a trusted option when defending totals.
Adam Milnesigned at the IPL 2026 auction, adds raw pace and aggression to RR’s death bowling. The New Zealand pacer’s ability to bowl hard lengths at high speed provides a wicket-taking option when batters are forced to attack late in the innings.
Kuldeep Sen offers another pace option for the closing overs. Having returned to the Royals after a season away, Sen’s speed and familiarity with the franchise’s setup make him a useful rotation option in pressure situations.
Sam Curran contributes valuable overs at the death with his variations and left-arm angle. While primarily an all-rounder, Curran’s experience in bowling slower deliveries and cutters makes him effective when batters look to accelerate.
With Archer leading the attack and strong support from Sandeep Sharma, Adam Milne and Sam Curran, Rajasthan Royals enter IPL 2026 with a death-bowling unit capable of defending totals and finishing games in crunch moments.
