Lucknow Super Giants’ captain KL Rahul has won the toss and elected to bowl first against Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League 2024.

“I’m not the best reader of the wicket but we just like to chase in the Indian Premier League. We will have to perform well and take care of the strike rate as T20 format has changed a lot in the last few year,” KL Rahul said.

Shreyas Iyer wanted to bowl first as well. “We wanted to bowl first as well but I have lost six tosses in a row. We are going in with the same team as we are batting first. Mitchell Starc was good in the last game and his form is good news for us,” Shreyas Iyer said.
