Team India has been announced for T20 World Cup 2026. On December 20, those 15 players were selected who will be seen playing for Team India in the T20 series against New Zealand next year and the T20 World Cup to be held thereafter. But, the big thing is that players of 3 IPL teams including RCB are out of Team India selected for T20 World Cup 2026. That means, out of 10 IPL teams, only players playing for 7 teams have been successful in making a place in the T20 World Cup team.

The answer to this is Mumbai Indians, from which maximum 4 players have been selected. The players who joined Team India for the T20 World Cup from Mumbai Indians are Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah and Tilak Verma.

After Mumbai Indians, there are 3 players from Kolkata Knight Riders, whose names are Varun Aaron, Harshit Rana and Rinku Singh. 2 players each from Sunrisers Hyderabad, Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals have got a place in the T20 World Cup 2026 team. Abhishek Sharma and Ishan Kishan are from SRH. Sanju Samson and Shivam Dubey are from CSK. Whereas Akshar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav have got a chance from DC.

Apart from all this, one Arshdeep Singh from Punjab Kings, while only one Washington Sundar from Gujarat Titans has managed to make a place in the team of T20 World Cup 2026.
