Ben Stokeshas conceded that Australia have been far better in all facets after England lost yet another Test in the ongoing Ashes tour. Australia defeated England by 82 runs in the third Test to take an unassailable lead in the five-match series.

Stokes  expressed that Australia have been far more clinical than England with the bat, ball and on the field, and the 3-0 scoreline in favour of the Pat Cummins-led side is a fair reflection of the series.

“Australia have been able to execute things on a much more consistent basis than us with the ball, with the bat, and in the field.

This game is based on how you bat, bowl and field, and they’ve outdone us on a much higher level," shared Stokes during the post-match presentation.

Although being completely transparent after defeat, Stokes expressed that despite the setbacks, the rest of the team and himself will be giving their all in the remainder of the series. He said that the team will want to put in their all for the travelling fans.

We’ve got two more games. We’ve got so much to play for. We’re not going to roll over and let this series drift.

We’re going to leave absolutely everything out there in these last two games. We’ve got people travelling over to watch, we’ve got pride, and we’re going to give absolutely everything,” he added.

England's performance in the third Test was significantly better than the first two matches. However, it did not prove to be enough. Alex Carey secured the Player of the Match for his106 and 72 and six catches he snapped behind the stumps.

The loss in Adelaide was England's 18th consecutive failed attempt of winning a Test in Australia, with the streak running the 2010-11 Ashes.

All eyes will be on how the Three Lions perform in the fourth and fifth Tests in Melbourne and Sydney.
