Ahmedabad . India has won the 5-match T20 series against South Africa 3-1. The team defeated Africa by 30 runs in the 5th match played on Friday.

While Indian bowlers were chasing the target of 232 runs in Ahmedabad, South Africa could score only 201 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs. Varun Chakraborty took maximum 4 wickets. Jasprit Bumrah took 2 wickets. Quinton de Kock scored 65 runs on 35 balls.

Earlier, with the help of half-centuries from Tilak Verma and Hardik Pandya, the Indian team scored 231 runs for 5 wickets in 20 overs. Tilak scored 73 runs on 42 balls, while Pandya scored 63 runs on 25 balls. Sanju Samson scored 37 runs and Abhishek Sharma scored 34 runs. Pandya completed his fifty on 16 balls. This is the second fastest fifty from India in T-20 International. The record of fastest fifty from Team India is in the name of Yuvraj Singh (12 balls).
