Devon Conway-Tom Latham Record: New Zealand's openers i.e. captain Tom Latham and Devon Conway have done wonders. Together, both of them have created a new test record in the history of New Zealand cricket. Conway and Latham have written the story of the record in the third Test of the series being played against West Indies. The third Test between New Zealand and West Indies started from 18 December. Conway and Latham came to open for the host Kiwi team, who came to bat first in this Test, and by the time their pair was broken by the West Indies bowlers, they had created history.

In fact, as partners in Test, both these players also became the third highest run scorers for New Zealand. Tom Latham and Devon Conway batted together in 49 innings, scoring 2021 runs at an average of 42.10.

Status of New Zealand-West Indies Test

Talking about the Test match, New Zealand, batting first, scored 334 runs for 1 wicket by the end of the first day's play against West Indies, of which 323 runs were from the partnership between Conway and Latham. Kemar Roach broke this partnership and prevented it from becoming bigger.
