Delhi: Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) team has suffered a big setback in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. The team's young fast bowler Mayank Yadav, who created a stir with his speed, has been out of action for the entire season. Team head coach Justin Langer has given this information. Langer said that now it will be very difficult for Mayank Yadav to play in the remaining matches.

Talking about Mayank, he got injured during the match against Mumbai Indians (MI). During that match, Yadav had come to bowl the 19th over for Lucknow. On the first ball of this over, he showed Mumbai batsman Mohammad Nabi the way to the pavilion. However, after taking the wicket Mayank returned to the dressing room. After this, the young bowler could not play the last five matches for Lucknow due to injury. After recovering, he made a comeback against Mumbai Indians, but got injured once again.

Before the match against KKR, LSG head coach Justin Langer confirmed Mayank Yadav's exit from the IPL. Regarding Mayank's fitness, Langer said, “I don't think he will be able to play in this tournament, but we will pray and we hope that he can play in the playoffs.”

Mayank has been scanned. He got hurt in the same place as before, which is unfortunate. Mayank also spoke to veteran fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah, who explained to him that injuries are a part of a pacer's career.

For your information, let us tell you that Mayank got injured during the match against Gujarat Titans and he left the field after just one over. After this, he made a comeback in the match against Mumbai last Tuesday, but again had to be ruled out due to injury.
