Mukul Choudhary IPL Auction 2026: In the mini auction of IPL 2026, there was a great competition among the buyers for Rajasthan's young wicketkeeper-batsman Mukul Chaudhary. Lucknow Super Giants added him to their team for Rs 2.60 crore. The base price of Mukul was only Rs 30 lakh, but the price increased rapidly in Beed Wor. The special thing was that Mukul Chaudhary had played a stormy innings in the Indian domestic tournament Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy just an hour ago.
Rajasthan Royals started the bidding for Mukul Chaudhary in the mini auction, after which Mumbai Indians also joined the race.
Mumbai bid up to Rs 95 lakh, but backed out after that. Then Lucknow Super Giants entered and increased the bid without stopping and acquired Mukul for Rs 2.60 crore. Batting at an excellent strike rate of 192.85, he hit 4 fours and 3 sixes. In the same tournament, against Delhi also, he played a brilliant inning of 62 unbeaten runs in 26 balls, which shows his finishing ability. This performance caught the attention of the franchisees and increased their price manifold. Along with wicketkeeping, Mukul has the ability to score fast runs in the lower order, which is valuable for any team in T20 cricket.Mukul Chaudhary has played only 7 T20 matches so far in his T20 career. During this period he has scored 210 runs at an average of 42.00. He has also scored 2 half-centuries in T20. Mukul Chaudhary made his debut for Rajasthan in T20 format in the year 2023. But he could not leave his mark and remained out of the team for a long time.
