Rajasthan Royals did not have a season to remember in IPL 2025, as they ended up ninth on the points table, with only eight points from 14 matches. RR avoided a rock bottom finish only due to theit superior net run rate as compared to CSK.

Ahead of the auction for IPL 2026, RR had INR 16.05 crore remaining. They a total of nine vacancies, of which only one was overseas. The 2008 champions traded in Sam Curran, Ravindra Jadeja and Donovan Ferreira ahead of the auction.

Coming to the auction, their the biggest purchase was that of forgotten Indian spinner Ravi Bishnoi for INR 7.2 crore.

They filled the overseas spot with New Zealand pacer Adam Milne while their other purchases included Sushant Mishra, Yash Raj Punja, Vignesh Puthur, Ravi Singh, Aman Rao, Brijesh Sharma, Kuldeep Sen.
