Delhi: ICC Chairman Jay Shah presented India’s T20 World Cup jersey to Argentina’s legendary footballer Lionel Messi. This special moment was seen during a program held at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Monday 15th December.

Jai Shah gave a special gift to Messi

Along with Jai Shah, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and former Indian football captain Bhaichung Bhutia were also present in this program. Jay Shah handed over the Indian team jersey to Messi with his name and jersey number. Along with this, he also gave the ticket to Messi for the T20 World Cup match to be held between India and America.

Lionel Messi reached Delhi on the third and last day of GOAT India Tour. After reaching Delhi in the afternoon, he went straight to Arun Jaitley Stadium, where this special program was organized in his honour.

An exhibition match was being played in the stadium between Celebrity Messi All Stars and Minerva Messi All Stars. After Messi’s arrival, Minerva Messi All Stars won the match 6-0.

The audience gave a warm welcome to Messi as soon as he stepped into the stadium. The stadium was completely filled and thousands of fans were present to get a glimpse of their favorite football star.
