Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2025: In the Super League Group A match of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2025-26 played at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune, Jharkhand won by defeating Madhya Pradesh by one run in a thrilling manner. The match dragged on till the last over and Jharkhand's young fast bowler Sushant Mishra gave a brilliant performance in the last over and led the team to victory. With this, Jharkhand won its 9th consecutive match in the tournament and has not lost even a single match so far.

Ishan Kishan's captaincy innings

Jharkhand captain Ishan Kishan won the toss in this match and decided to bat first. His team scored 181 runs losing 9 wickets in 20 overs. Ishan Kishan played a fast-paced innings and scored a blazing fifty of 63 runs in just 30 balls, which included many big shots. Apart from him, Anukul Roy also contributed 29 runs. Rajat Patidar hit a four on the very first ball of this over of Sushant Mishra. After this he bowled a wide ball. But while making a comeback, Rajat Patidar was dismissed on the second ball.
