Former India player Sachin Tendulkar was present during Lionel Messi’s GOAT Tour 2025 at the Wankhede Stadium on December 14. The legendary cricketer presented Messi with his jersey No. 10.

The moment was celebrated by fans at the iconic venue, and the presenter reminded everyone about the No.10 connection between two greats. Both superstars share the famous jersey number.

Sunil Chhetri was also present during the event and wore a jersey similar to Barcelona, Messi’s former football club, with No.10 and the name of a global star written on it.

Messi landed in Mumbai after completing two legs of his tour in Kolkata and Hyderabad. He unveiled his 70-ft statue in Lake Town, Kolkata, but the event was marred by fans’ anger and chaos at the venue.

However, his visit to Hyderabad was organised without any trouble, and he spoke to Telangana chief minister Revanth Reddy, leader of the opposition, Rahul Gandhi.
