Indian Women defeated Bangladesh Women by 7 wickets on the basis of their excellent bowling performance in the third match of the 5-match T20 International series. With this, India took an unassailable 3-0 lead in the series. In this match played at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, Sylhet, India won the toss and decided to bowl first. So far in this series, both Bangladesh's batting and bowling have been poor.
Batting first, Bangladesh scored 117 runs on the scoreboard after losing 8 wickets in 20 overs. Dilara Akhtar played an inning of 39 runs in 27 balls with the help of 5 fours. Captain Nigar Sultana contributed 28 runs in 36 balls with the help of one four. Shobhana Mostari scored 15 runs in 20 balls with the help of one four. Radha Yadav took maximum 2 wickets for India. Renuka Thakur Singh, Pooja Vastrakar and Shreyanka Patil managed to take one wicket each.
Chasing the target, India won the match by losing 3 wickets and scoring 121 runs in 18.3 overs. Shefali Verma played a half-century of 51 runs in 38 balls with the help of 8 fours. Smriti Mandhana played an inning of 47 runs in 42 balls with the help of 5 fours and one six. Shefali and Smriti made a match-winning partnership of 91 (73) runs for the first wicket. Nahida Akhtar, Rabeya Khan and Ritu Moni took one wicket each for Bangladesh.
