Ranchi. Now even traveling by plane has become risky. The reason is that every day the news of aircraft malfunctioning from somewhere has started scaring us. A major accident was narrowly avoided at the airport of Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. An Indigo plane carrying 75 passengers was landing here when some technical glitch occurred and its rear part hit the ground. Thankfully, no accident occurred and all the passengers narrowly escaped injury. However, there are reports of some passengers getting injured.
IndiGo’s Bhubaneswar-Ranchi flight 6E7361 had a hard landing during landing, due to which the tail portion of the aircraft hit the runway. The lives of 75 passengers aboard this plane were saved.

However, some passengers are reported to have suffered minor injuries. According to sources, this flight landed at Ranchi airport at around 8:30 pm instead of the scheduled time of 7:55 pm. It is being said that a technical fault occurred during landing, due to which the aircraft could not balance properly and had a heavy landing on the runway. There was panic among the passengers after the incident, however the airport staff and IndiGo team took control of the situation.

Keeping security in mind, the plane was declared grounded at around 9:40 pm. The plane was scheduled to return from Ranchi to Bhubaneswar, but the flight had to be canceled due to technical inspection. As another flight was not immediately available, 35 passengers were sent to Bhubaneswar by car. At the same time, arrangements for the stay of the remaining passengers have been made in hotels. The airport administration and Indigo’s technical team have started examining the aircraft. In the preliminary investigation, there is a possibility of technical problem at the time of landing. Officials say that the exact cause of the accident will be revealed only after the detailed investigation report comes. At present, all the passengers are said to be safe. After the incident, vigilance was increased for some time at Ranchi Airport and the runway was also checked. Airlines have promised to provide all possible assistance to the passengers.
