Amazing bowling was seen from Mohammad Siraj in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2025. On the basis of which Hyderabad defeated Mumbai by 9 wickets in the Super League stage. In this match, Mumbai's innings faltered in front of the sharp bowling of Mohammed Siraj, while Hyderabad's batsmen chased the target easily. With this, Mohammad Siraj once again showed that he can prove to be a big match winner in red ball as well as T20 cricket.

Siraj showed the mirror to Gambhir-Agarkar

The Indian team is currently playing a 5-match T20 series against South Africa. In which the bad condition of Indian bowlers has been seen. Siraj is not a part of the team in this series. However, this is not the first time, head coach Gautam Gambhir and chief selector Ajit Agarkar have kept Siraj out of the T20 team for a long time. It has been almost 17 months since he last played T20 match for Team India. But he seems to be in very lethal form in domestic cricket.

Mohammad Siraj was the biggest hero of Hyderabad's victory in this match played against Mumbai. Mohammad Siraj bowled only 3.5 overs and achieved 2 successes while spending 21 runs, due to which Mumbai team got bundled out for 131 runs. Siraj made Suryansh Shedge, Shardul Thakur and Tanush Kotian his victims. During this, Suryansh Shedge and Shardul Thakur were dismissed on two consecutive balls. Apart from Siraj, Tanay Thiagarajan also took two wickets in his name.

Mohammad Siraj also won hearts

Mohammad Siraj was also chosen player of the match for his excellent bowling in the match. But while receiving the award he won everyone's hearts. Actually, Siraj shared the Player of the Match award with his teammate Tanmay Agarwal, because he also played a brilliant innings for the team in this match. This step of Siraj is being praised a lot on social media.

Hyderabad's easy win

Mumbai's star players were a complete flop in this match. Yashasvi Jaiswal could only touch the figure of 29 runs, Sarfaraz Khan 05 runs and Ajinkya Rahane 09 runs. On the other hand, Hyderabad won by 9 wickets by scoring 132 runs for one wicket in just 11.5 overs. In which Aman Rao's unbeaten 52 runs and Tanmay Agarwal's strong innings of 75 runs were included. Due to which his team achieved 4 points.
