Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Rajasthan Royals by 1 run in the Indian Premier League 2024. Chasing 202 runs, the Royals were restricted to 200/7 in 20 overs. This was SRH’s sixth win in the 17th season. Yashasvi Jaiswal 67) and Riyan Parag (77) scored aggressive fifties but magnificent bowling by Hyderabad’s bowlers in the death overs sealed the game in their team’s favour.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar (3 wickets), Pat Cummins (2 wickets) and T Natarajan (2 wickets) were instrumental with the ball.
Earlier, Pat Cummins won the toss and elected to bat first. Travis Head (58), Nitish Kumar Reddy (76) and Heinrich Klaasen (42) took the score to 201/3.
