South Africa bounced back strongly against India in the second T20I of the five-match series on Thursday, December 11 in Mullanpur, clinching a 51-run victory to level the series 1-1. After winning the toss, Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav opted to field first, but South Africa made full use of the conditions, posting a formidable 213/4 in their 20 overs.
Quinton de Kock was the star of the innings, hammering 90 runs, while the rest of the batting unit contributed valuable cameos to push the total past 200.

He finished with impressive figures of 4/24 in his four-over spell, showcasing excellent control and precision. Baartman first removed Axar Patel, before returning to dismantle the lower order by dismissing Shivam Dube, Arshdeep Singh, and Varun Chakravarthy in the same over, effectively wrapping up India’s innings.
