South African wicketkeeper-batter Quinton de Kock scored 90 from 46 balls during the second T20I between India and South Africa at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in New Chandigarh on Thursday.
The southpaw struck a blistering fifty from just 26 deliveries as he put the Indian bowlers under the pump while setting a total for the Proteas.
De Kock is currently without an Indian Premier League (IPL) team after being released by Kolkata Knight Riders after the 2025 season. He will be part of the upcoming mini-auction, having registered with a base price of Rs. 1 crore.

De Kock will come in Set 3, along with other capped wicketkeepers including Jonny Bairstow, Jamie Smith, and Finn Allen among others.
The 32-year-old has played for six different IPL franchises (Sunrisers Hyderabad, Delhi Daredevils, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Mumbai Indians, Lucknow Super Giants, and Kolkata Knight Riders). He has played 115 games, scoring 3309 runs at an average of 30.63 and a strike rate of 134.02.
