Nepal Squad for T20 World Cup 2024: To be hosted by West Indies and America starting next month T-20 World Cup Nepal has announced its team for 2024. 21 year old Rohit Paudel has been made the captain of the team.

Currently, Nepal team is playing T-20 series against West Indies A. Arif Sheikh, Bibek Yadav and Akash Chand, who were included in this series, are not in the 15-member World Cup team. Nepal's most famous T-20 cricketer Sandeep Lamichane is currently in jail in a rape case.

Experienced players like Asif Shaikh, Anil Kumar Sah, Kushal Bhurtel, Kushal Mall, Lalit Rajbanshi, Karan KC, Sompal Kami and Deependra Singh Airi are included. Last month, Airi became the third player in T20 International history to hit 6 sixes in an over. He did this feat against the Qatar team.

T-20 World Cup Nepal is part of Group D, which includes the teams of Bangladesh, Netherlands, South Africa and Sri Lanka. Nepal will play its first match against Netherlands on June 4 in Dallas.

Let us tell you that all the teams can make any changes in the selected team till May 25. Any changes thereafter will require approval from the ICC's Event Technical Committee.
