The 50th match of Indian Premier League 2024 is being played today (May 2) between Hyderabad Sunrisers and Rajasthan Royals. Both the teams are facing each other at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
Rajasthan are on top of the points table and they will try to win this match to secure their place in the playoffs. Hyderabad will be looking to return to winning ways.
Pacer Sandeep Sharma dismissed Anmolpreet Singh to give Rajasthan their second win. Anmolpreet was dismissed for 5 runs in 5 balls. However, Travis Head is at the crease and Nitish Reddy comes in to support him.
Avesh Khan gave Sunrisers Hyderabad the first blow on the first ball of the 5th over. Abhishek Sharma was dismissed for 12 runs off 10 balls with a six. He is caught by Dhruv Jurel on the leg side boundary. Hyderabad lost their first wicket by 25 runs.
