Perth Scorchers Women (PS-W) will take on Melbourne Stars Women (MS-W) in the Knockout of WBBL 2025at the Western Australia Cricket Association Ground in Perth on Tuesday, December 9. Perth and Melbourne finished third and fourth on the points table, respectively. The winner of this clash will play Sydney Sixers Women in the Challenger.

The Scorchers, who had followed an alternating win-loss pattern in the first-half of their campaign, picked up in the latter stages to finish third.

Beth Mooney, Sophie Devine and Chloe Ainsworth have been the franchise's top performers this season.

The Stars started their campaign with a washed off contest. They were on a roll after winning four contests on the trot before ending their league phase with three successive defeats. Meg Lanning and Sophie Day have starred magnificently with bat and ball, respectively.
