Delhi: In the third and decisive ODI match played in Visakhapatnam, India defeated South Africa by 9 wickets and won the series 2-1. Yashasvi Jaiswal’s brilliant century and Virat Kohli’s unbeaten half-century played an important role in Team India’s victory. Virat Kohli, who scored more than 300 runs in this series, was chosen as the Player of the Series.

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have already retired from T20 International and Test formats. In such a situation, India has played its last ODI match of the year 2025, hence both the players will not play any match this year. Fans will have to wait a while to see these legends again in the Indian jersey. After performing brilliantly in the ODI series of Australia tour, both of them played for Team India after almost a year and then also showed excellent performance against South Africa.

When will Ak Ro-Ko pair enter the field?

The RO-KO pair will now return to the field in January next year. On the other hand, after winning the ODI series against South Africa, India is now eyeing the five-match T20 series. This T20 series will start from December 9 and continue till December 19. After this, India will not play any other match this year.

Next year India will host New Zealand on its home soil. A series of three ODI matches will be played between the two teams, in which the first match will be held on 11 January, the second on 14 January and the third on 18 January.

After the ODI series against New Zealand, Team India will tour England in July. According to the current schedule, India will play the first ODI on July 14, second ODI on July 16 and third ODI on July 19 on the soil of England.
