Flood of rumors in social media

But on November 25, a woman named Mary DeCosta created a sensation by posting some screenshots on social media and the whole story changed. These screenshots were of Palash and this woman chatting, in which he was seen flirting with Decosta. It was from here that Palash started being accused of cheating with Smriti.

Meanwhile, it was also alleged in a Reddit post that a day before the wedding i.e. on 22nd November, an Indian cricketer saw Palash in an objectionable situation with a choreographer and then informed Smriti about it. From here the whole situation worsened and Smriti's father's health also deteriorated and it was decided to postpone the marriage there itself.

But suddenly Palash's mother said in an interview that her son was brought to Mumbai after his health deteriorated, where he was admitted to the hospital. He had even claimed that Palash was very sad due to Smriti's father's ill health and it was he who decided to postpone the marriage. Smriti announced her decision after 14 days

But finally on December 7, in her first post related to the marriage, Smriti Mandhana announced that she was canceling it. She also said that she wants to keep her life private and also appealed to people to respect the privacy of both the families. But during this time he also unfollowed Palash and his sister from Instagram. Palash also immediately posted a statement and said that he is moving forward in life by taking a step back from his personal relationship. Palash also threatened legal action, terming the claims on social media as false.
