WPL 2026 Auction: Full list of team-wise purse left and slots remaining

The Women’s Premier League 2026 mega auction will take place in New Delhi on Thursday, November 27. Teams were permitted to retain up to five players ahead of the season, with the lists confirmed earlier this month. Two-time champion Mumbai Indians and three-time runner-up Delhi Capitals are the only franchises to use their full quota, while UP Warriorz retained just one player and will enter the auction with the largest purse.

Squads can include a maximum of 18 players, with up to seven overseas.

The purse balance for each franchise is listed below before bidding begins.

Delhi Capitals

Retentions: Jemimah Rodrigues, Shafali Verma, Annabelle Sutherland, Marizanne Kapp, Niki Prasad.

Purse remaining: Rs. 5.70 crore

Slots remaining: 13 (4 overseas)

Mumbai Indians

Retentions: Nat Sciver-Brunt, Harmanpreet Kaur, Hayley Matthews, Amanjot Kaur, G. Kamalini.

Purse remaining: Rs. 5.75 crore

Slots remaining: 13 (4 overseas)

Royal Challengers Bengaluru

Retentions: Smriti Mandhana, Richa Ghosh, Ellyse Perry, Shreyanka Patil.

Purse remaining: Rs. 6.15 crore

Slots remaining: 14 (5 overseas)

UP Warriorz

Retentions: Shweta Sehrawat.

Purse remaining: Rs. 14.50 crore

Slots remaining: 17 (6 overseas)

Gujarat Giants

Retentions: Ashleigh Gardner, Beth Mooney.

Purse remaining: Rs. 9 crore

Slots remaining: 16 (4 overseas)
