Smriti Mandhana has posted for the first time on social media since her wedding with Palash Muchhal was put on hold. Smriti’s father, Srinivas, fell ill on November 23, and the wedding was postponed. Palash was also admitted to the hospital due to illness, and the two were discharged after a few days, but the new date of the wedding hasn’t been announced.

Mandhana posted on her Instagram handle on Friday. The post was for the leading toothpaste brand. However, fans noticed that her engagement ring was missing. It is not confirmed when the ad was shot before her engagement to the music composer.

She has removed all her wedding- posts, which surprised everyone. The members of the two families have confirmed that the postponement was due to health issues. Palash’s mother, Amita, is hoping that the wedding will take place soon.

In her conversation with Hindustan Times, Amita revealed that Smriti and Palash are in pain over what happened on the day of their wedding. She had planned a grand welcome for Smriti after the batter’s wedding with her son.

The health emergencies have forced the two families to call off the functions. “They both are in pain. Palash dreamt of bringing her home. I had planned a special welcome. Everything will be fine, and the wedding will soon take place,” she said.

Palash’s sister Palak spoke to Filmfare about the two families and the public interest surrounding the wedding. “Families have been through tough times, and we would like to be positive,” Palak said.

There were reports of Palash cheating on Smriti on the wedding day.
