BCCI selectors announced the Indian team for the T20 World Cup on Tuesday. Better Rinku Singh of Uttar Pradesh was a strong contender for the selection but he did not get the place. Rinkuno’s family is very disappointed by this. His father Khanchandra Singh while talking to the media said- We had brought sweets and firecrackers. We had full hope that Dikro would play the World Cup. But, this did not happen.

Rinku has not got a place in the 15-member Indian team. He has been included as a reserve player. That means if any player from the main team gets injured then Rinku can get the place.

Rinku called her mother and said – I have not been selected.
Khanchandra said, there were a lot of expectations and hence there is some sadness also. We were celebrating because we thought Rinku would be in the Indian team for the T20 World Cup. His heart is broken. He talked to his mother and said that his name is not in 11th or 15th. It was also said that he is going to West Indies-America as a reserve.

Rinku has 5 brothers in her family. His father used to work in cylinder delivery. Rinku Bhaskar had said in an interview that all the brothers used to keep 2 cylinders each on the bike and used to take it to the hotel and home.

Rinku called her mother Veena Devi and told her that she has not been selected for the T20 World Cup.

Rinku’s strike rate in International T20 is 176.
Rinku Singh has scored 356 runs in 15 matches playing for India in T20 International. His strike rate in the team is 176. The strike rate (171.55) of world number-1 T-20 batsman Suryakumar Yadav is also less than that.

Rinku made her debut against Ireland in the year 2023. At the same time, he played his last match against Afghanistan in January this year.

Rinku KKR player, got less opportunity to bat this season
Rinku Singh is a player of Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL. This season, he has scored 123 runs in 9 matches at a strike rate of 150. He has mostly been a part of the team as an impact player.
